CHIRTSAK PHAIJTSATTAYA ( ICLIM )

Chirtsak Phaijitsattaya, also known as iClim, was born in 1957 in Thailand.

His love for art goes back since he was a child, but at that time he didn't have the opportunity to cultivate and exercise this passion.

In 1976 he moved to Bangkok to continue his studies and enrolled in law school.

During those years of studies, a friend invited him almost by chance to exhibit one of his papier-mache works.

It was thanks to this event that Chirtsak discovered all his passion for art and sculpture.

Thanks to his dedication, talent and determination, in 2001 he became professor of sculpture at Wangklaikangwon Industrial and Community College.

During those years he also received a medal from King Bhumiphol.

In 2010 Chirtsak returned to Bangkok to continue his artistic career and decided to join PAJ Art Studio to work together with the French artist Arnaud Nazare-Aga.

Since then, Chirtsak has been working in Aranaud’s studio and he is getting more and more noticed for his resin sculptures.

He is currently working on several projects together with Arnaud Nazare-Aga.
